Curated Resources

  • INROADS – A non-profit organization aimed at creating pathways to careers for ethnically diverse high school and college students.
  • NBNA – The National Black Nurses Association aims to offer a professional voice to African American nurses across the country. View their virtual Career Center for additional resources!
  • NABJ – The National Association of Black Journalists is fostering a worldwide community of black journalists and media professionals. Check out their Virtual Career Center services now!

  • BRC – The Black Resource Center (BRC) is committed to assisting African/African American/Black college students in successfully completing their degree programs. The center provides retention and outreach programs by providing academic, personal, and professional services and culturally-relevant programming.
  • Black Resource Guide – Check out the campus programs promoted by the BRC.

  • BSCU – Black Students of California United is a statewide organization focused on developing African American Students through Culturally Competent Leadership Training, Civic Engagement Experiences, Experiential Project-Based Learning, Dual Generation Engagement, Mental and Physical Health Maintenance Habits and Practices Training, and Research & Presentation Skills Training.
  • BSCU Scholarships – Check out scholarships available through the Black Students of California United website.
  • Black Scholarships – The largest online directory of scholarships and financial aid opportunities for African American and other minority students.
