Curated Resources
- Career Village.org – View this conversation full of tips and advice by first-gen students sharing their experience with navigating college!
- Rise First – Providing life and career advice, lists of support resources and mentorship opportunities through a technology platform with online tools.
- NACE – View these support and advice resources from NACE for First-gen students.
- I Am First – On campus program helping first-generation college students to navigate the university and help them translate the important life skills they bring with them that will support their academic success.
- I Am First Mentorship Program – In the I AM FIRST mentoring program, CPP first-generation college students are matched with a faculty or staff member who also identifies as a first-generation college graduate.Â
- EOP – On campus program serving low-income, typically first-generation students, who demonstrate the motivation and potential to succeed in college.Â

- Imfirst.org – A national non-profit organization and mentorship program for first generation college students.
