Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated college student for a Human Resources Intern role that offers hands-on experience in recruiting, onboarding, and internal operations.
This is an on-site position in Alhambra, CA, where you will work closely with management and team members to support recruiting efforts, employee coordination, and HR-related processes.
Responsibilities
- Support daily HR activities under the guidance of a mentor
- Assist in recruiting efforts, including sourcing candidates and reviewing applications
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates
- Participate in interview processes and candidate evaluations
- Assist with onboarding documentation and new hire coordination
- Help manage intern schedules, attendance, and reporting
- Serve as a liaison between interns and management for communication and coordination
- Support training sessions and internal workshops
- Assist in maintaining HR records and documentation
- Utilize AI tools to assist with candidate screening, communication, and workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Upper-division college student (Junior or Senior preferred)
- Interest in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Familiarity with basic HR processes or employment practices is a plus
- Experience in administrative or HR-related roles is a plus
- Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week (25 hours/week for summer interns)
- Target program completion of approximately 350 total hours
- Available to begin within 2–3 weeks of application
- Completion of a required AI certification is mandatory for all roles. This certification must be completed prior to the start date or within the first two weeks of the internship. Training resources will be provided.
