Regenerative Activist – Food as Medicine – Sustainability Focused – Change the Food System

Are you ready to build a career with purpose—while earning at a high level?

Do you believe that food is medicine?

That local, organic agriculture is the foundation of a healthier future?

That real growth—personally and professionally—happens outside your comfort zone?

If so, this role is designed for you.

We are looking for committed foot soldiers, activists, to enter communities where people are and initiate conversations about supporting local certified organic family farms.

We do this OUTSIDE, wherever people are at:

in neighborhoods

in busy parks, shopping districts, etc

Core Responsibilities

You will be trained to operate across four primary environments:

  • Community Outreach – Direct engagement in neighborhoods
  • Vendor Events – Farmers markets, festivals, and curated events
  • Tabling – Set locations with structured conversations
  • Street Canvassing – High-volume, high-skill interaction environments

About the Organization

Farm Fresh To You, powered by Capay Organic, is a family-owned, certified organic farm operating since 1976 and delivering farm-to-door since 1992. We are a pioneer in the organic industry, no one comes close, it hasn’t been easy. We don’t brag about it, because we are so busy engaged in the hard work of being the farm, labor intensive certified organic family farming, endeavoring the logistical challenges of delivering a highly-perishable product to people’s homes fresher than anywhere else they can get it.

We are not a startup.

We are not a trend.

We are a vertically integrated farm system redefining how communities access food.

Our model connects households directly to organic farms—cutting out inefficiencies, reducing waste, and delivering produce that is significantly fresher than traditional retail supply chains.

We engage in real life conversations with real people – this job is not in the fields, it is in the communities, connecting them to the farms that feed them, organically, this is NOT possible to be done online through digital means, nor through influencers nor databases, there are no shortcuts here this is civic engagement.

What This Role Is

It is community-based outreach and education. To change the food system and save local family certified organic farms we need to stay in business. We also help 60-150 other certified organic family farms stay in business, who without our program may not survive.

You will engage people directly—at events, in neighborhoods, and in public spaces—helping them understand:

  • Why most grocery store produce is already 4 days older that having our farms deliver it direct to community residential homes
  • How supporting local farms does not increase their grocery spend
  • Why food quality directly impacts long-term health outcomes

Your role is to educate, align, and enroll—not pressure.

We need people throughout the Bay Area, you can reside in: San Jose, Santa Cruz, Oakland, San Francisco, San Mateo, Livermore, Modesto, Walnut Creek, Santa Rosa, Marin, Berkeley, Milpitas, Mountain View to connect communities in those areas.

Core Responsibilities

You will be trained to operate across four primary environments:

  • Community Outreach – Direct engagement in neighborhoods
  • Vendor Events – Farmers markets, festivals, and curated events
  • Tabling – Set locations with structured conversations
  • Street Canvassing – High-volume, high-skill interaction environments

Your development will focus on:

  • Structured communication and rapport-building
  • Active listening and needs alignment
  • Consistent execution of a proven process
  • Weekly performance targets (modest, scalable, and trackable)

Who You Are

This role selects for mindset and behavioral traits, not just experience.

You are:

  • Conversational, outgoing, and confident
  • Competitive and performance-oriented
  • Self-motivated and disciplined
  • Coachable and open to feedback
  • Comfortable being uncomfortable in pursuit of growth
  • Resilient in the face of rejection and repetition
  • Committed to finishing what you start

You understand:

Growth occurs at the outer edge of your comfort zone.

What You Gain

  • Uncapped earning potential (top performers average ~$40/hour+)
  • Clear path to six-figure income through consistency
  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • 40% employee discount on organic products
  • Structured advancement into leadership roles (as early as 90 days)
  • A high-accountability, growth-focused team culture

Mission Alignment

This is a role for individuals who want their work to matter.

We are actively working to:

  • Change the food system
  • Protect ecosystems and living soil
  • Reduce reliance on harmful chemicals like glyphosate
  • Support pollinators and prevent colony collapse
  • Strengthen local economies and family farms
  • Reinforce the principle that food is medicine

Requirements

  • Full-time availability
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred (not required):

  • Sales, outreach, or canvassing experience
  • Background in sustainability, nutrition, or wellness
  • Experience in fast-paced, performance-driven environments

Reality Check

This role is not passive.

  • You will be challenged
  • You will experience rejection
  • You will be held accountable

But if you stay consistent:

  • Your confidence compounds
  • Your skill set becomes transferable for life
  • Your income scales with your output

Ask Yourself

  • Am I ready to be coached and held accountable?
  • Can I commit to consistency even when it’s uncomfortable?
  • Do I want a career—not just a job—that aligns with my values?
  • Am I willing to push beyond average performance standards?

If the answer is yes, continue.

Call to Action

If you are:

  • Not satisfied with mediocrity
  • Motivated by purpose and performance
  • Ready to build resilience, skill, and financial stability
  • Tenacity – finish what you start
  • Ability to shift your perspective – there is more than one path to success

Then apply.

Submit your resume and answer the following:

Why are you the right person to help grow the food revolution?

We are building something durable, scalable, and meaningful.

This is an opportunity to develop professionally, financially, and personally—while contributing to a system that directly impacts human and environmental health.

Take the first step.
