Job Description
We’re looking for a Public Relations Intern to join RHC team to support the needs of our business.
The PR Intern will handle administrative duties (monitoring and storing media coverage, status reports), creative writing (press releases, pitches, content, etc.); building and managing lists of media, bloggers and influencers, etc.
Responsibilities
- Compile news of the day that relates to current clients in all major
- publications
- Research projects and media audits
- Monitor and clip press coverage for clients; organize coverage into client-
- facing emails (and reports when necessary)
- Assist in client mailings
- Errands, messengering and deliveries when appropriate
- Build, qualify and manage databases of media, bloggers and influencers
- Manage editorial calendars
- Seek out creative ideas and opportunities to identify and cultivate story
- ideas for media pitching
- Follow industry and client category trends and regularly share insights,
- thoughts and key findings particularly as it relates to competitors
- Keep track of team expenses
- Assist in managing status reports and press coverage reports
- Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions
