Is This You?

You’re naturally curious about why businesses make the decisions they do — and even more curious about what they should do next. You love digging into audiences, markets, competition, and trends. You can switch between zooming way out (what’s the big picture?) and zooming way in (what insights actually matter?)

You’re energized by solving problems, asking smart questions, and exploring how strategy shapes the way brands grow. And you’re excited to experience how an agency uses data, insights, and crossfunctional collaboration to guide clients toward smarter decisions.

If you geek out equally over consumer behavior, storytelling, trends, and market dynamics… this role is calling your name.

What You’ll Need:

  • An interest in business strategy, market research, or consumer insights
  • A love for organizing information and drawing meaningful conclusions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Curiosity, critical thinking, and a willingness to ask “why?” and “what if?”
  • Comfort working with multiple teams and gathering input from different perspectives
  • A growth mindset and openness to feedback
  • Enthusiasm for learning how AI can support research and strategic thinking (no experience required!)

What You’ll Do:

You’ll support our Business Strategy team as they uncover opportunities, build insights, and guide strategic thinking for client programs. Expect to:

  • Research target audiences, industry trends, and competitive landscapes
  • Support team members in developing strategic insights for client programs
  • Help summarize findings in clear, compelling ways for internal teams and clients
  • Assist with discovery sessions, strategic planning, and annual planning prep
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Creative, Media, Analytics, etc.) to translate insights into direction
  • Learn how strategy connects to marketing plans, campaigns, content, and creative decisions
  • Explore how AI tools can support research, synthesis, and early-stage ideation

You’ll contribute to real client work, learning how strategy drives everything that comes next.

*This role is a hybrid role based out of our San Diego office, with at least 2-3 days in the office*
