Are you passionate about making a difference? Now is your chance! Join us February 29 – March 1 at Cal Poly Pomona as we kick off a new partnership aimed at offering early career opportunities in public service.

During their visit, HHS is actively seeking out vibrant and dedicated students to become integral members of their team. This could be your chance to start an exciting journey towards making a difference. Be sure to attend the various events hosted by the department before and during their visit to campus: 

  • Friday, February 23 (11:30 a.m.–1 p.m.): Veterans Federal Resume Workshop (SSB Rm 1967)
  • Tuesday, February 27 (3–4 p.m.): Career Center’s Workshop Prep for a Federal Resume(Ursa Major A/B)  
  • Thursday, February 29 (10:30 a.m.-11:45): MOU signing ceremony and reception (Ursa Major A/B)
    • Join President Coley and HHS Assistant Secretary for Administration Cheryl R. Campbell for the MOU signing and reception with light refreshments immediately following. 
  • Thursday, February 29 (1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.): HHS Career Panel(Ursa Major A/B)
    • Meet current HHS employees and learn about their career journey. 
  • Friday, March 1 (8:15–9:15 a.m.): Networking Breakfast with NIH & HHS for Military Affiliated Students (Bldg. 121 West, 1st floor, MPR 1967-1969)
  • Friday, March 1 (10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.): Spring Career Fair (University Quad)
    • Meet and network with different HHS agency representatives at the Spring Career Fair and learn about current job openings. 
  • Friday, March 1 (2–4 p.m.): HHS On-site Hiring Fair (Bronco Student Union Andromeda Suite) 
    • This event is by invitation only for students who have participated in either the Feb. 23 or Feb. 27 federal resume workshop, attend the career fair, and are contacted by HHS representatives.
